We experience stress on some level, all the time. It’s part of the human condition. Any situation we encounter makes demands upon us, as do our relationships. In responding to those demands, we experience a level of stress. This can either be an acceptable, even enjoyable, experience or an unpleasant, uncomfortable one. Stress becomes unmanageable when the demands upon us are unwanted, or when we are not capable of meeting the demand, or both.

Imagine being able to manage and shed unwanted stress at will. You can learn to do just that.

It is easy to get caught up in a cycle of thoughts, feelings and activities that becomes more and more stressful - perhaps so stressful that you begin to feel overwhelmed. You feel as if you are losing control and you become increasingly exhausted.

It doesn’t have to be like that. Hypnosis, EFT and NLP can help you to remain calm and relaxed, even in difficult circumstances. It can help you to ‘let go’ and, in so doing, to regain control of your emotions. So often our instinct is to hang on, to use our willpower to drive on, when, by letting go we would gain control over ourselves, reduce stress and manage life’s demands so much more comfortably.

It seems a paradox that we can gain better control by letting go. The fact is that we often hang on to old ways of thinking, feeling and reacting, even when they are unhelpful or downright destructive. It is these old ways of doing and being that it is helpful to let go. So much of what we think and feel comes from way back in our past and is stored in our subconscious. Hence certain people and situations can trigger automatic, unhelpful responses. Without realising it we build up tension and stress in mind and body.

I can help you to change those responses so that you remain calm, relaxed and in control.
